Illustrator of the Month - May

Whoops! I missed April. Oops. No nudity this month, still haven't figured out what site to use to host my naughty images.

Susan Burghart is an illustrator originally from Ellensburg, Washington and a graduate of Central Washington University. Susan worked as a graphic designer for about seven years for her alma mater. During this time she relied on doing a lot of vector illustration to spruce up various layouts. Susan was also doing some freelance graphic design and illustration on the side. After receiving unexpected attention and commissions for illustration work, Burghart started to think more seriously about pursuing illustration full-time. In 2005 she went back to school to study illustration, receiving a Master's Degree with Distinction in Illustration from Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts, London.

I love her illustration style - you can tell she is a graphic designer by trade - her use of typography is top-notch and works as an accent to her designs rather than stand out as an afterthought.

Lovely!
